About

I would say it wasn’t me who chose yoga—yoga chose me.

Growing up as the son of an Army veteran, discipline and fitness were always part of my life. During my engineering years at Army Institute of Technology, Pune, football, strength training, and movement became an important part of who I was—but I gradually realized true well-being goes beyond physical fitness.

My curiosity led me beyond exercise into theatre, meditation, breathwork, and self-exploration. Whether it was training the body, understanding emotions through theatre, or exploring the mind through meditation, traces of yoga seemed to appear everywhere. What started as a personal journey slowly evolved into a path of sharing.

Over the past decade, I have explored yoga beyond asana—through pranayama, meditation, and deeper self-awareness. I further deepened this journey by completing my Master’s in Yoga and engaging in research focused on the practical applications of yoga in health and performance.

In recent years, I have worked with Indian Army soldiers and their families, using yoga as a practical tool to improve breathing, mental resilience, sleep, and overall performance—especially in demanding and high-altitude conditions.

YogPrarthna is rooted in the spirit of
“अथातो ब्रह्म जिज्ञासा” — a call to explore the Self.

A simple, structured approach to yoga designed for real-life performance.

“YogPrarthna was founded in the spirit of ‘अथातो ब्रह्म जिज्ञासा’— a call to explore the Self, the ultimate truth.”

Vision

YogPrarthna is meant to help you achieve – Fit body!  Healthy mind!  Awakened soul!

We all have longing to excel in our respective fields. To reach the zenith, one must fathom the journey to the depths within. YogPrathna helps you in this process of self-exploration. The journey starts, the day you climb on the yoga mat.

Yoga transcends one’s consciousness from Body to Mind by means of Asana, Pranyama, Pratayahar (withdrawal of senses), Dharna (concentration), Dhyana (prolonged concentration), Samadhi (being one with the Universe).

YogPrarthna is confluence of Yog (to unite) and Prarthna (to pray). Yog is to get in sync with the universe and through prayer, we channelize the energy towards peace, inner as well as universal.

Starting Yoga was one of the best decisions of my life. Sir, is very professional and quiet motivating as well. I had a different perspective of yoga earlier and now it has changed for good. Initial days you might have to push yourself but after few weeks yoga will become an integral part of your daily routine.
